This notice explains what information Elwane collects when you use elwane.com, why we need it, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need to deliver your order and answer your questions.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, phone (WhatsApp) number, city and delivery address, and, if you choose to give them, your email address and an order note. We also record what you ordered and the order total.
When you contact us: your name, email address and message.
When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.

We do not collect card or bank details online. All orders are paid by Cash on Delivery.

How we use it

To confirm, prepare and deliver your order, including sharing your name, phone number and address with our courier.
To contact you about your order by phone, WhatsApp or email.
To reply to your messages and handle returns and refunds.
To send newsletters, only if you subscribed. You can ask us to stop at any time.
To understand which ads, searches and social posts bring visitors and orders, so we can improve our site and advertising.

We do not sell your information.

Services that help us run the store

Hosting and database: the website and your order details are stored with our hosting and database providers.
Spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person, not a bot, is submitting them.
Email: order confirmations and replies are sent through our email provider.
Couriers: receive what they need to deliver your parcel.
Google Analytics: tells us how visitors find and use our site, such as which pages are viewed and whether a visit came from a search, an ad or social media.
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): measures which of our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and orders, and lets us show our ads to people who visited our site.

Cookies and your browser

Your cart is saved in your own browser so it is still there when you come back. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel use cookies and similar technology to recognise your browser and record actions such as viewing a product, adding to cart, starting checkout and placing an order, along with the order value. We do not send them your name, phone number, address or email. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. A sign-in cookie is used only for our staff dashboard.

How long we keep it

We keep order details for as long as we need them for delivery, returns, customer support and our business records. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop sending you newsletters. Email us at elwanesperfumes@gmail.com and we will reply as soon as we can. Some order details may need to be kept for our records.
